Are you failing to make the Law of attraction work for you? Are you constantly knocked back from reaching what you want from life? Taking one step forward but two back?
You try to be a wholesome person, you know, you see the best in everyone you meet and put their feeling and concerns before your own hoping your compassion will reap personal rewards? An altruistic mindset perhaps? Are you being true and honest with yourself?
In a perfect world where everyone wants to help each other to provide encouragement and support sounds wonderful…but we don’t live in a perfect world.
There are people who will never get to this level of perfection, nor would they ever dream of trying to. We have to accept that and be very wary of it.
Whenever I meet someone new I am kind, considerate and respectful, in that moment. But I have to fully know that person before I commit to having them in my life. Beneath that first impression of them is an interrogation unit deciphering what their life agenda is.
Too many times in the past I have tried to see the best in someone only to find out later that they do not fit into my own way of thinking. This brings resentment and negativity into my mindset.
Delete Negativity
To give a quick example, we used to go out for drinks with a couple around our same age. On the surface they were nice people. Easy to communicate with, jolly and relaxed. He was a successful financier, she a stay at home mom. They lived in one of the better parts of town in a nice, big house. We got on.
Until…
One day a whole bunch of negativity hit me like a explosion. Now, the negativity wasn’t from their own perspective, it was from mine. They obviously didn’t see it as a negative point in their lives, but it was a huge no-no for me.
You see, I’m an animal lover. For instance, I prefer the company of dogs than most humans. So the moment I found out this couple went on trophy hunting trips my blood boiled and the friendship went out of the window immediately. They were visibly shocked by my outrage and we have never crossed paths since.
The negativity, from my point of view, was their whole idea that killing animals for fun was OK. For them, it was fine, in fact, it gave them pleasure. No negative thoughts in their mind at all, it was all good. That’s why they are a successful couple who are financially and mentally happy. They only did what was good for them.
This Law of Attraction thing certainly works in mysterious ways.
Be Your Own Boss
You see, you have to be happy with what you’re doing in life and carry out those acts to get the life you want. That couple brought hate into my mind, but they don’t care about that, they are living the life they want no matter what others think.
It’s a double edged sword. You may do things that others find wrong, but you find perfectly OK. As long as you do the stuff you want, you will get what you desire.
The LOA doesn’t work on morality, it only works on individual thoughts processed by ourselves. And if those individual thoughts, and actions, get you to where you want to be then the Law of Attraction will work in YOUR favour.
Many successful people in business are ruthless for their own success. We may not like what they do, but do they care what we think? Nope.
It’s their mindset that makes them successful. Do you think they’re bothered you find some of them intolerable? Does it make a difference to their wealth and success? Of course not.
I admire their mindset.
Be True To Yourself
It took me many years to understand and trust my own mindset values. Being kind and considerate is only one factor to my mental attitude, but step over the line and I will tell you. It’s very liberating to say what you feel. My attitude and way of thinking may seem wrong to some people, but I don’t care. As long as my life is making me happy, why would I worry that what I say and do offends someone?
I told this to a friend not so long ago and she just couldn’t wrap her head around it! She was under the impression I didn’t care about anything. She was wrong…I care about a lot, but only the things that affect me and my family. As long as I don’t purposely hurt anyone, where’s the problem?
I’ve been told I’m too much of a straight talker. Again, where’s the problem in that. If someone doesn’t like what I say, and it offends them..well, that’s not my problem. The person chose to take offense in the first place.
Whether I’m right or wrong (in their view) what I say, why should it matter to me? As long as I don’t physically hurt them, then it’s fine. People are offended by almost anything these days. I can get offended on a daily basis if I let my negative thoughts surface, What helps me is the knowledge that I am right and whatever is said to the contrary is only an opinion of someone of no importance to me.
We have become a society where being offended can ruin peoples lives. Why become a society that does that? What’s wrong in saying it, as it is?
Sticks & Stones…
It’s a very old saying but ‘sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me’. It should be rolled out everytime someone says something that might hurt their ‘feelings’
There is so much wrong in the world right now it’s hard to put feelings and thoughts into context without offending someone. We live in world of ‘hurty feelings’. Some people feast their whole lives on what other people think, rightly or wrongly. It’s such a waste of time and energy.
Yes, I hate trophy hunting and in my eyes it is very, very wrong but our ex-friends take enjoyment out of it. They are living the life they want and are happy. They are oblivious that their ‘hobby’ offends people. But do they care? Nah.
Yes, I got offended by both their thoughts and actions, but I don’t dwell on it so that it ruins and infects my own thoughts. You have to be mentally strong enough accept it happens and get on with your own personal goals that are so important to your happiness.
I would dearly love to end their passion, but there is no denying their own personal life is better for having it in their life. Horrendous as it is to me, their lifestyle suits them and they benefit from it.
I benefit from my life because I do whatever makes me happy. It’s the same thing in an ugly, twisted way.
Make The Law Of Attraction Work
To make the law of attraction work, and to manifest the things YOU want from life, you have to act and think the way that makes you ultimately happy. Do not worry what other people think, it’s not your problem. As long as you’re not physically hurting someone or doing anything illegal, you’re good to go.
Follow YOUR dreams, act on them and don’t give a stuff what anyone else thinks. Your desires are already out there in the big wide world, have the gumption to accept them when they present themselves to you.
OK, I guess you could call that a bit of a rant, but I’m trying to show you that to make the law of attraction work you have to believe in yourself and take actions from your very own personal thoughts. Don’t waste time thinking what other people say and think about you.
Yes, be kind, compassionate and true…but don’t suffer fools who can impact your route to happiness.
